What problem does your company want to solve? :
EDSA always experiences huge financial loss as a result of electricity theft on meters and the stealing of transformer cables. Customers also have to manually climb to credit their electricity meter

What solution does your company provide? :
Our product immediately call and alert EDSA by SMS when a meter or transformer cable is about to be tempered with or stolen. It also helps customers to remotely credit their keypad electricity meter

Describe your project :
EDSA still rely on manual methods to prevent electricity theft which are not reliable and efficient. Our product is novel and unique device with tempered Sensor / robotics gantry system that uses a registered SIM Card for GPS tracking, GSM, and GPRS communication that actively monitors transformers and household electricity meter at all times and remotely credit all keypad electricity meters from any distance. Both the product and business model highly depends on ICT and IOT Our product is fully digitize with hardware, software and highly rely on the use of mobile phone, telecommunication networks and the Orange Money SSD payment platform. It allows the free flow of real-time information exchange between energy suppliers and consumers Our solution will be implemented in the capital city (Freetown). Where the Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) is most active with a current customer base of over 350,000 active users and always experience electricity theft from the majority of them. So far we've been getting positive feedback from EDSA and end users as they consider our solution to be very user friendly, efficient and affordable.
