PROBLEMS 1 -Because of the world' s current trend towards the green economy to obtain a clean green environment and how to benefit from waste and recycle it, I thought about solving the problem of banana tree waste, which produces fruit only once a year and then becomes waste that causes environmental pollution and a burden on farmers. The biggest problem is that banana trees are present in very large quantities. At the world level, the amount of banana tree waste amounts to approximately 2 million tons, planted on an area of 100,000 acres for the year 2023 in the State of Egypt. And approximately 320 million tons worldwide in 2022 2 - The existing threads are made from chemicals, and the threads made from catgut are very expensive and they have been discovered to cause diseases. Surgical sutures available in Egypt are imported from European countries SOLUTIONS 1- Utilizing banana tree waste to manufacture products that support the green economy, especially the surgical suture product, by extracting the banana stem fibers from which we extract the threads. There is the possibility of manufacturing surgical sutures, and thus this helped us in preserving the environment and manufacturing a new medical product. 2- Manufacture of sustainable natural surgical sutures that are durable, soft, flexible, and more capable of healing than other products made from chemicals. We will manufacture surgical sutures locally, encourage local industry, and solve the problem of hard currency
