The AI4Health Project is launched to revolutionize disease diagnosis through the integration of AI technology, reshaping infectious disease screening, overcoming barriers of accessibility and accuracy. As part of this effort, the project addresses two main realizations : The "Mboacare" and The “Mboathoscope”. -The "Mboacare": Seeks to address some challenges by providing an app where hospitals can register their facilities and empowering patients to easily access the healthcare services they require. -The “Mboathoscope”: 3D technologies have proven their efficiency in the medical sector, allowing many projects to see the light of day. Faced with the shortage of medical equipment, players in the 3D printing sector have mobilized to 3D print connected devices to facilitate medical teleconsultations. In line with this new paradigm, we propose to design an open-source wireless 3D printed Digital Stethoscope. Succesfull implementation of the AI4Health project would result in significant impacts including the number of patients served via remote healthcare, improvements in health outcomes such as decreased hospitalizations. Additionally, the adoption of affordable AI-driven diagnostic tools would expand healthcare access in underserved regions. Overall, the solution promises improved healthcare efficiency, contributing to better global population health.
