Describe your project :
Viridis is an innovative algae-to-biodiesel system designed to tackle the environmental and social challenges associated with traditional diesel fuel. Utilizing specific strains of algae cultivated in controlled environment photo-bioreactors, Viridis produces clean-burning, biodegradable biodiesel as a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels. Our system integrates advanced ICT, sensors, and AI to optimize the entire production process. Environmental sensors continuously monitor key parameters such as temperature, pH, light intensity, and nutrient levels within the bioreactors, ensuring optimal growing conditions for the algae. Once the algae reach optimal biomass and lipid content, they undergo a lipid extraction process to obtain biodiesel. Process sensors monitor parameters such as lipid content, viscosity, and impurities during extraction. AI algorithms analyze sensor data to optimize extraction parameters, maximizing yield and quality of the biodiesel. A comprehensive ICT system integrates all aspects of production, providing remote monitoring and control capabilities via a centralized dashboard. Stakeholders can access real-time production metrics, alerts, messaging, and task management through a mobile application, enhancing collaboration and decision-making.
