What solution does your company provide? :
EnoughSL provides a secure app for awareness, education, and anonymous reporting of gender-based and sexual violence in Sierra Leone, supporting women and girls with resources and support services.
Describe your project :
Gender-based violence (GBV) and sexual violence continue to be widespread issues in Sierra Leone, harming thousands of women and girls. According to statistics, 61% of women and girls aged 15 to 49 have been subjected to physical abuse, with 7% experiencing sexual violence. These frightening findings underline the critical need for effective measures to support survivors and prevent future violence. Enough SL is a groundbreaking app designed specifically to address these critical issues. It provides a secure, comprehensive platform for women and girls in Sierra Leone to seek help, gain education, and report GBV incidents. Features: It features educational resources on GBV, secure anonymous reporting, emergency contacts, support service directories, 24/7 chat support, appointment scheduling, community forums, peer support groups, and personalized self-care plans with interactive tools like mood trackers and guided meditations. This multifaceted approach ensures users receive essential information, emotional support, and practical assistance, promoting safety, empowerment, and recovery. Impact& Vision: Enough SL is more than an app; it's a lifeline for Sierra Leone's women and girls. We hope to minimise the occurrence of GBV by fostering a safe, friendly, and informative atmosphere, as well as to give critical support to survivors and develop a community dedicated to eradicating gender violence.
