What problem does your company want to solve? :
Pollution is a global challenge. Pollution alone is the cause of 3 of the prominent global threats which are Climate Change, Global Warming & Ozone depletion. Traditional recycling is overly demanding
What solution does your company provide? :
We provide an innovative bin that permits seperation of waste on collection eliminating the need for complex industrial seperation techniques thereby enhancing recycling and reuse.
Describe your project :
Research has shown that over 80% of disposed waste is useful. The tin containers, the plastic bottles, cans and other stuff we throw everyday are valuable raw materials, the tin containers are valuable aluminum resources which are more difficult and expensive to be reproduced from scratch than reusing. The problem that discourages recycling is the problem of rampant mixing and jam boxing of waste which make recycling super demanding, complex and expensive. We provide a solution to this issue. We provide an innovative bin that permits the seperation of waste on collection eliminating the need for complex industrial seperation techniques thereby enhancing recycling and reuse. Easy Bin is a waste bin divided into different waste categories, with clear labels or pictorial guides to direct users on where to dispose waste Easy bin guides uses on proper waste disposal based on 6 major categories which include Plastic waste, paper waste, Metallic waste, organic waste, electronic waste and miscellaneous / other wastes which in some cases can be spilt into ceramic (glass,) sludge, wash water, sewage and and others. Easy bin has a mobile app/ website that can help educate users on waste management, how to throw, reuse and recycle their dirts. The Easy Bin app/ website is also a platform that can permit individuals, industries and recycling agencies who need a particular type of waste to get informed and identify areas where they can get this waste which becomes a raw material.
